Information update (2024-03-08)
The dates of the symposium, June 4-6, are very busy. The beginning of June will be very busy in Montreal. Hotel rooms and studios are available below. Please note that the week of the REIACTIS Colloquium will be very tight from an accommodations point of view, with notably the Formula 1 Grand-Prix taking place from June 7-9, 2024.
We have been able to negotiate agreements with hospitality establishments with the invaluable help of the firm Conferium, who are assisting us in the preparation of the colloquium. We therefore have options for both student and regular accommodations.
You can book directly on the hotel website, using the links and special codes provided. We strongly advise you to book your accommodations early; all our room reservations for RÉIACTIS are cleared 45 days before the event, except for those with confirmed reservations.

A few tips for your stay in Montreal and Quebec
- Don’t forget that, in addition to the hotels suggested, you can also visit aggregator sites such as Expedia (https://www.expedia.ca) or Trivago (https://www.trivago.ca). There may be “hidden” and “good deal” options available, especially for early arrivals.
- Besides the hotels suggested, you could also book an apartment or room via AirBnB or a similar service. In this case, don’t forget to check the accessibility of the Société de transport de Montréal metro and bus network to the conference site (Côte-des-Neiges or Université de Montréal metro stations).
- Think about searching along the blue and orange metro lines, which are more accessible for access to the Université de Montréal campus. The downtown, Griffintown, Plateau-Mont-Royal, Little Italy, Côte-des-Neiges and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhoods are all good places to stay.
- To keep the costs of an extended stay in Quebec to a minimum, consider planning your stay outside the Greater Montreal area from June 6-8. Destinations will be proposed for participants wishing to visit other regions with good accessibility to Montreal (Quebec, Laurentians, Eastern Townships, Montérégie, Centre-du-Québec) – we’ll send reminders by e-mail.
- For participants leaving Montreal on June 7, consider the possibility of staying at hotels directly adjacent to the airport – or at those listed above. Prices for downtown accommodations in Montreal from June 6-8 soar due to the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
- Watch out for the “hotel scam”!!! It is possible that companies may solicit our participants by offering to reserve their hotel room for the colloquium. If you receive a phone call or email from an accommodation management company, please be aware that they have no association with Conferium or the REIACTIS colloquium and are not authorized to book hotel rooms for you on our behalf. We recommend that you use the booking links on this page or contact the hotel directly for your reservations in our block of rooms and studios.
- Beware the “Participant List Scam”!!! We do not share, much less sell, our confidential participant list. If you are contacted by a company offering you products and services via an attendee list or for other products or services using a REIACTIS list, please be aware that they have no association with Conferium or the REIACTIS Conference and have not been authorized.
